Germany’s iconic Brandenburg Gate was spray-painted

Local time September 17, members of an environmental group called the “Last Generation” spray-painted a large amount of colorful paint on the Brandenburg Gate, a landmark building in Berlin, the capital of Germany. The police arrested 14 culprits at the scene.

The “Last Generation” was established in 2021 and claims to be concerned about climate change. It has organized protests in museums, airports or stadiums, etc., and has caused controversy due to its radical actions.
