On the 7th local time, the U.S. auto workers’ strike entered its fourth week. United Auto Workers President Fein and other union leaders held a rally in Chicago, calling on union members to continue the strike and put pressure on automakers. Fein did not disclose any new progress in negotiations between the union and the automakers that day.

The day before, the United Auto Workers union said that since General Motors and Stellantis agreed to make certain concessions and negotiations had made some progress, the union decided not to continue to expand the scope of the strike for the time being, but the strike will continue.
