CCTV reporters learned that on September 4, local time, a delegation led by IAEA Director General Grossi arrived at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
Earlier, Grossi said that the purpose of this trip was to continue to provide assistance to help prevent nuclear accidents.
The Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant announced on the evening of September 2 that a high-voltage power supply line of the nuclear power plant was automatically shut down, and another high-voltage power supply line of the nuclear power plant was powered.
The Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest nuclear power plants in Europe. The nuclear power plant has 6 nuclear reactors. Shortly after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Ukraine and Russia successively announced that the Russian army had taken over the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
