What is DP Dual Phase Steel

特徴

Microstructure: Mainly ferrite and martensite structures. Martensite is dispersed in an island shape on the ferrite matrix, and the ferrite is soft, which makes the steel have better formability. Martensite is harder and gives steel its high strength. Strength increases with the proportion of harder martensite. Depending on the application, DP steels with different yield-strength ratios (YS/TS) are produced.

Performance characteristics: It has the characteristics of no yield elongation, no room temperature aging, low yield-to-strength ratio, high work hardening index and high bake hardening value.

Main uses: DP series high-strength steel is currently the preferred steel type for structural parts. It is used in structural parts, reinforcements and anti-collision parts, such as underbody cross members, rails, anti-collision bars, anti-collision bar reinforced structural parts, etc.
