On September 16,Mexico held a military parade in Constitution Square in the capital, Mexico City, to celebrate the 213th anniversary of independence.
The honor guard of China’s three armed forces appeared. The appearance of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army attracted bursts of cheers from the scene and was praised by Chinese tourists as “mighty and heroic.”
More than 16,000 members of the Mexican Armed Forces participated in the commemorative parade that day, and 1,500 delegation members from multiple countries also participated in the parade.
The report stated that in addition to celebrating the 213th anniversary of Mexican independence, the day also commemorated the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Heroic Military Academy of Mexico.
