On October 2, Russia’s Sollers Group announced that its subsidiary, AIT LLC, has launched an advanced testing laboratory at its Vladivostok production base for mandatory compliance assessments of vehicles imported into Russia. The Vladivostok lab is equipped with state-of-the-art testing devices provided by NAMI and AIT LLC and has already begun conducting tests on imported vehicles. These tests are a mandatory step for obtaining the Vehicle Design Safety Certificate (VDSC) and Electronic Vehicle Passport System (EVPS).
The facility features three inspection lines compliant with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) standards, including diagnostic and environmental systems. With an annual testing capacity of 130,000 vehicles, the lab can cover the majority of current and future imports via Vladivostok, helping to reduce risks of delays.
