90% of Russians believe that the most attractive factor of the Chinese automobile industry is design, while another 69% believe that the technical level of Chinese cars is commendable. This interesting statistic was provided exclusively to Izvestia by the car-sharing company “Delimobil”.

According to data from “Delimobil”, Chinese brand cars show reliability. In addition, car-sharing services have a positive impact on increasing Russians’ awareness of Chinese car brands. 60% of respondents believe that Chinese brands are well represented in the Russian market, and 44% of car-sharing users said they have rented Chinese brand vehicles.

40% of respondents mentioned that they do not plan to buy a private car in the near future due to the significant increase in costs associated with car maintenance.

It is worth noting that car-sharing users who frequently use Chinese brand models are more inclined to buy cars of these brands in the future. These brands include Haval, Chery and Geely, which are the brands most familiar to Russian consumers, as cars of these companies are the most common in the car-sharing market.
