Indonesia holds commemorative activities to celebrate 78th anniversary of independence

Local time August 17, the Indonesian government held commemorative activities in the capital Jakarta to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the country’s independence.

Early in the morning on the 17th, Merdeka Square and the Presidential Palace in Jakarta were crowded with people who came to watch the Independence Day celebration ceremony. A number of performance groups and dancers in various costumes circled from Independence Square, and then walked along the street to the Presidential Palace. The entire parade process is also a performance process, attracting a large number of onlookers. Many different types of aircraft performed wonderful aerial stunts.
